Sumalee T Griffith is Thai-Chinese and was raised with the tradition of Asian cooking with herbs and healing foods to maximize wellness and health. Since Childhood, she was exposed to the healing technique of Traditional Thai massage and has maintained an advance certification in that art from Wat Po in Bangkok, Thailand. With this background it was a natural progression for her to extend her healing experience to the area of oriental medicine. She also has been studied Qigong under Grand Master Hong Liu of Qi Master in Arcadia, California since 2000.
Sumalee completed her master degree of science in Traditional Chinese Medicine at Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine, a nationally accredited school in Denver, Colorado. She underwent more than 3,000 hours of training. She is trained in acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, auricular therapy, cupping, Thai massage, Tuina, acupressure, Qi Gong and Eastern and Western nutrition.
Sumalee subsequently expanded her study in the field of allergy elimination causing by food, environment or emotional blockages.
She is recognized as a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and is board certified in acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine and clean needle technique since 2007.
